Hardly a week after Lasw Society of kenya Boss Faith Odhiambo turned down president Willam Ruto's offer, Roots party running mate for the 2022 elections Justina wamae has done it too.

According to her X post President William Ruto had offered Justina a chance to work in the presidential Taskforce On Addressing Human Resources for Health.

''Thank you Mr President William Samoei Ruto for recognising my strength, capacity, ability and subsequently appointing me to serve in the PRESIDENTIAL TASKFORCE ON ADDRESSING HUMAN RESOURCES FOR HEALTH vide GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 8437 EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 5 OF 2024 dated 5th July, 2024''

Despite the trempting offer Wamae calmly turned the president down indicating that she is incapaciated right now since is on her maternity leave.

''However, after careful consideration, I have decided to decline your offer given that I'm currently on maternity leave and this development would affect my ability to work effectively at this time.''

Her followers on the other hand had mixed reactions about her choices some calling her out for not grabbing the oppportunity while some lauded her for being wise.

Other members appointed to the taskforce include Dr. John Masasabi, Dr. Toseef Din, Dr. Wilson Aruasa, Doreen Rhoda Kanyua, Prof. Francis Wafula, Dr. Habiba Mohamed, and Lucy Mburu.
