Government Intensifies Efforts to Ensure Clean National Examinations, Warns Against Cheating
On Tuesday, while participating in a tree-planting event at Siala Technical and Vocational Training Center in Rongo, the Cabinet Secretary for Education stressed the ministry's dedication to maintaining a fair and transparent exam process. He mentioned that the government has put effective measures in place to curb any potential exam malpractices.
The CS, Mr. Ogamba, delivered a strong warning to those within the education sector engaging in cheating, emphasizing that they will face severe penalties, including possible dismissal. He also called on all education stakeholders to work together to help the government uphold the integrity of national examinations.
Ogamba further reminded the public that everyone has a part to play in the education sector, as their contributions are crucial for the success of both the younger generation and the nation. He concluded by assuring that preparations are being made to ensure grade nine learning activities begin without disruption next year.
