TSC Announces Dates for 2024 KCPE Exams, Implements New Anti-Cheating Measures

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has confirmed that theThe Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education(KCSE), is set to begin from October 18, with the rehearsals. The students will officially begin writing their exams on October 22 with the tests set to run for a month.

To enhance exam integrity, the TSC has introduced a new policy requiring exam supervisors to be rotated every two weeks. This measure aims to prevent cheating and ensure a fair examination environment.

In addition, the TSC has directed Sub County Directors to select and vet supervisors, administrators, invigilators, and center managers of high integrity to oversee the exam process. These individuals must be registered in the CP2 system by October 11, 2024.

To further safeguard the integrity of the exams, supervisors and invigilators will not be assigned to the same centers where they served in the previous two years. This measure is expected to deter cheating and ensure a more secure examination process.
