President Ruto Meets Health Officials to Finalize Universal Health Coverage Rollout Plans

On Thursday, President William Ruto convened with Ministry of Health representatives, governors, and various stakeholders to discuss final preparations for the launch of Universal Health Coverage (UHC), scheduled for October 1, 2024.

During the meeting, President Ruto stressed the importance of a coordinated, whole-of-government approach to ensure the successful implementation of UHC. He urged counties to actively engage citizens and spread awareness about the advantages of this inclusive and transformative health program.
