Kagame Disappointed After Generator Fails To Power Stadium

Paul Kagame, the president of Rwanda, has voiced his anger over the failure of a generator to light the Pele Stadium during a night match.
In response to a statement regarding the incident released by the Kigali City management, Kagame stated that it was not something that should have happened.

"This should not have happened in the first place!" the Rwanda president said.

His remarks came after the Kigali City management said that it was looking for a lasting solution to the issue.

The management explained that the generator they have installed can only power a few sections of the stadium.

"The City of Kigali is seeking a lasting solution for this issue. Today, the generator we have at Kigali Pelé Stadium is not able to power all the lights sufficiently for night games. However, if the teams playing have the capability to bring an additional generator, they are allowed to play at night," he said adding that they have already ordered a new generator that can power the stadium.
