Former Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has responded to some top journalists who allegedly laughed at his academic qualifications.
While addressing a gathering the president William Ruto's preffered individual for the mining docket in his cabinet applauded himself for the value addition in his academic progress while accepting that he got D minus in his KCSE.
''I was a D minus but I hold 2 degrees now and Iam the first governor of Mombasa, it will go down in history that Hassan Ali Joho was the first govenor of Mombasa County''
The former governor also reminded those who troll him for his education to stay woke because nothing is impossible.

Joho sat for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) at Tom Mboya Primary School in 1988,a fter a year at home, he joined Serani Secondary School.
He completed his secondary education in 1993, attaining a mean grade of D- (minus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
later he enrolled for a certificate course at Kampala University.
In 2008, he obtained a certificate course in business administration that allowed him to enrol for a diploma course in human resource management at the same university.
In 2009, he satisfied the requirements prescribed by the institution’s Senate for the award of the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration.
