Government Pathologist Confirms Identification of Endarasha Fire Victims.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, government pathologist Oduor confirmed that samples from each of the 21 pupils who tragically lost their lives in the Endarasha Academy fire have been positively identified. The remains will now be returned to their families for proper burial arrangements.

This update comes as preparations are underway for the pupils' burials, scheduled for next week. Following the burials, the school will reopen to allow Kenya Primary School Education Assessment students to resume their preparations for upcoming exams.

Acting Regional Commissioner Pius Murugu stated that investigations at the scene have been completed, and the school is no longer classified as a crime scene. Control of the institution has been handed back to the management, and a report on the investigation findings will soon be released.
