On Friday, members of the Bomet County Assembly (MCAs) voted to impeach three County Executive Committee (CEC) members due to accusations of inadequate service delivery. The officials removed from their positions include Andrew Sigei, CEC for Finance; Erick Ngetich, CEC for Roads; and Joseph Kirui, CEC for Public Service. The impeachment vote surpassed the required 19-vote threshold, with all 28 members present casting their votes in favor.
