Deputy President Gachagua Reveals Poisoning Attempts

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua disclosed that there were two incidents where attempts were made to poison him, one in Kisumu and another in Nyeri. Speaking to the media outside Karen Hospital on Sunday, he emphasized his ongoing role as Deputy President and expressed concerns for his safety following the withdrawal of his security detail.

"I want to inform Kenyans that I don’t feel secure. While in Kisumu, undercover agents accessed my room and attempted to tamper with my food, but we were able to identify the plot and avoid the danger," he revealed, highlighting the seriousness of the threats against him.
