Babu owino Declares Himself As The Chief Opposition Leader

Embakasi East member of parliament Hon. Babu Owino has bestowed himself a senior position in the Orange Democratic Movement citing mediocricy in the party .

While adrerssing the media Babu Owino announced that he is assuming the position of Chief Oppostion Leader, a postion that is similarly being held by Raila odinga.

"From today henceforth I am the chief opposition leader because there are many jokes going around''

Affirming his displeasure with was is happening in the party , Bbau decried of members of the oppostion party merging with the government.

;There so many people who were in the opposition, who are now in bed with the government." he added.

Babu Owino's bold sentiments come some of the top oppostion leaders were nominated by President william Ruto for cabinet slots

Opiyo Wandayi is the Member of parliament of Ugunja Constituency and he is serving his third term in parliament having been first elected in 2013 on the ODM ticket.

Former Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho is the Mining CS nominee,Joho has and is still a stauch supporter of oppostion leader Raila Odinga.

Former Kakamega gorvernor Wycliffe Oparanya has beewn nominated to head the Cooperatives and MSME Development Ministry.
