Wavinya Ndeti Dismisses UK Arrest ,attributing the rumors to political rivals

After returning to Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi on Monday, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti was welcomed by her family, members of the Machakos County Assembly, county officials, and her supporters.

Governor Ndeti refuted claims of her alleged arrest in the UK, attributing the rumors to political rivals aiming to tarnish her reputation. She accused certain corrupt individuals of fabricating the false narrative, despite her continued efforts to drive development for Machakos residents. Ndeti stressed that such propaganda would not deter her from her work.

Reflecting on her achievements, the governor highlighted her administration’s success in completing key development projects over her two years in office. She suggested that those spreading the rumors were motivated by jealousy over her progress.

In conclusion, Governor Ndeti acknowledged that the changes she has implemented have unsettled those resistant to reform, but she emphasized her resolve to continue making progress for the benefit of all citizens.
