''Mercy Was 5 months By The Time Of Her Demise'' Mercy Mawia's Husband Narrates
Mercy Mawia's husband James Mwangi has shared made the unfortunate cause of the late presenter's death.
During her candle lighting and mini harambee held on 30th July, Mwangi who described his wife as a jovial woman stated that Mercy had blood clots on her abdomen that were severe since December 2023 that complicated her pregnancy.
"Ukiona Mercy anatembea, ana interact na watu kwa road shows, akismile na nyinyi, she was ailing. Mercy ni fighter. A while back Mercy was diagnosed kuwa na blood clots kwa abdomen na zilikuwa severe she had to be admitted na amekua under medication but it became severe in December 2023. 3 months down the line akapata she was expecting and being expectant with her condition, it was always a risk but she took the risk to keep the baby." Mwangi narrated .
"Mercy's pregnancy was 5 months by the time of her demise. We were in and out of the hospital. In 5 months, we had done 16 ultra sounds. Mercy's blood clots were all over. She used to take a lot of medicine. Saturday, she woke up ready to attend a friend's wedding but I realized she was in pain so I talked to her and she stayed."
"Monday was a great day. She was not in pain and everything looked okay until in the evening akaniambia anaskia ni kama mtoto anateremka. By the time we went to the hospital miguu ilikuwa nje na hakuwa anapitia Kwa cervix."
"They had to remove the baby and the uterus. It was painful and Mercy was heartbroken. She was walking by herself and was full of life. After the surgery, everything looked okay and she was supposed to be taken to the ICU but before therE she got a cardiac arrest," he painfully narrated.
