Gachagua Warns Ruto Against Impeachment Efforts, Cites Political Betrayal Concerns.

During a church service at the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Church in Thika Town on Sunday, September 22, 2024, Deputy President Gachagua called on President Ruto to resolve internal conflicts within the UDA party. Gachagua cautioned Ruto against supporting any attempts to impeach him, warning that such actions would have serious consequences. He urged the president to honor his commitment to ensuring that his deputy is not subjected to humiliation. Gachagua also pointed out that Ruto has benefited significantly from Mt. Kenya's strong stance against betrayal in politics and advised him to steer clear of any actions that could be seen as political betrayal. He warned that pursuing such a course would lead to significant repercussions.
