Mugithi sensation Lawrence Njuguna, known as DJ Fatxo, has revealed that being implicated in the death of Jeff Mwathi last year did not cause him psychological distress.

In a recent interview on Obinna TV, the 28-year-old artist credited his resilience during that challenging time to his faith in God.

Despite facing widespread social media criticism following Mwathi's death, Fatxo expressed gratitude for avoiding depression. "I thank God I didn't succumb to depression. If I had, I might never have recovered," he admitted candidly.

Reflecting on the backlash, Fatxo admitted surprise at the negativity directed at him,given his previously clean public image. "When I gained popularity in music, I was loved and never faced insults. I come from a background where hard work and diligence were valued," he explained.

Addressing allegations surrounding Mwathi's death, Fatxo asserted his innocence, emphasizing that investigation authorities found no evidence implicating him. "No charges were filed because no wrongdoing was found," he clarified, noting his relief at being vindicated.

Throughout the ordeal, Fatxo acknowledged the unwavering support of his faith and thanked those who stood by him.
